리딩을 위주로 진행을 하고 있습니다

그래서 특별히 쓸것이 없네요 ^^;;;

 

가끔 일기나 독서록 감상문......그리고 스토리를 함 지가 써보겠다고 하는데

얼마나 쓸지는 아무도 모르는 일이죠? ㅋㅋㅋ

 

그냥 나가기는 썰렁하니까

얼마전 거북이가 쓴 감상문이나 하나 올려볼랍니다

영화의 내용은 충격적이었다.......

영화를 보고나서 거북이에게 감상문을 적어보라고 했다

 

Global Warming (after watching the 'Inconvenient Truth')

 

Nowadays the global warming is a real problem.  Because of the development of the scientific technology, the density of CO2 in the air is getting bigger and bigger.

The CO2 is trapping the sun's heat in and making the earth warmer.

And there are many bad things when the Earth gets hot.  The North Pole melts and makes the sea level rise.  Also, next to the North Pole, Greenland has a serious problem.  According to the movie, the same water puddle was found in South Pole.  Then, the part where the puddle would have been,  had been broken to millions of pieces and melted in the last few years.   And the same puddle is happening everywhere in Greenland.

So the North Pole and Greenland are melting so fast.  That's bad news for polar bears.  Because, nowadays sometimes they find some dead polar bears, which have drowned.  The polar bears have been searching for the ice to stand on.  They have been swiming for 60 miles or so, and then they drown.

The global warming makes the seas hotter.  And the hot sea makes stronger storms.  There were a lot of hurricanes in florida, USA  in the last year.  Do you remember hurricane Katrina? 

That hurricane was only a level 1 when it was in florida, but when it hit New Orleans, it was level 5 !  It was caused by Mexico's  warm current, which it was in hurricane's way.  The global warming makes the warm current hotter, and the high temperature makes faster wind speed and more moisture.  That makes a powerful storm.

The global warming also changes the place where it rains.  So in somewhere there is a flood, and  other places there isn't.

According to the movie, there was a call for help.  It said "I'm trapped. The water is up to my neck.  I don't think I'm going to stand any more."

Today, the strange natural disasters have happened in the last year.  A hurricane in south Atlantic ocean? And it hit Brazil?  It can't happen.  It's all becase of us. we made the earth hotter and more polluted.  How can we reduce global warming?

Well,  today there are many things that can reduce CO2.  There is a lamp that doesn't use a lot of electrictity.  It costs about $3.95. 

I'll help reduce global warming.   I can try and recycle more paper, plastic and cans.  I will also pass this message onto others, like my friends, classmates, and family.

 The world will change, one person at a time.
