Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens
장미 꽃잎에 맺힌 빗방울,새끼 고양이의 콧수염
Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens
반짝이는 구리 주전자,따뜻한 털 장갑
Brown paper packages tied up with strings
노끈 묶인 갈색 소포 꾸러미,
These are a few of my favourite things

모두 내가 좋아하는 것들이지

Cream coloured ponies and crisp apple strudels
크림색 조랑말,바삭 바삭한 사과 파이
Doorbells and slaybells and schnitzel with noodles
초인종 소리,썰매 종 소리,국수 곁들인 슈니첼 요리
Wild geese that fly with the moon on their wings

달밤에 높이 나는 기러기
These are a few of my favourite things

모두 내가 좋아 하는 것들이지

Girls in white dresses with blue satin sashes
흰 치마에 푸른 공단 허리띠를 맨 소녀

Snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes

콧잔등과 속 눈썹에 떨어진 눈송이
Silver white winters that melt into springs
봄을 맞아 녹아드는 은백색 겨울
These are few of my favourite things

모두 내가 좋아 하는 것들이지

When the dog bites, when the bee stings,

개한테 물리거나,벌에 쏘이거나

When I'm feeling sad, I simply remember

 마음이 울적할 때좋아 하는 것들을 떠 올리면,

My favourite things And then I don't feel so bad

기분이 한층 나아지지
